These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “Merchant”) and Munafa (“Munafa”, “we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship in India, governing your use of the Munafa application and the website at getmunafa.com (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
Munafa is a profit-analytics application for Shopify merchants. It reads your store, cost, shipping, payment and advertising data and calculates net profit and related metrics, including cash-on-delivery (COD) and return-to-origin (RTO) effects and GST.
Munafa produces management estimates to help you run your business. Figures depend on the data you enter (such as cost of goods and shipping rates), on data supplied by third-party platforms, and on modelling assumptions — for example, unresolved COD orders may be discounted by an expected RTO rate, and costs may be allocated across orders.
Munafa is not accounting, tax, audit, legal or investment advice, and must not be used as a statutory book of account or as the basis for any tax filing. You are solely responsible for your financial reporting and tax compliance and should consult a qualified professional. We do not warrant that any figure is complete, accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
You retain all rights in your data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to provide, secure and improve the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Service connects to third parties (for example Shopify, Shiprocket, GoKwik, Razorpay, Cashfree, Meta and Google). Those services are operated by others under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, changes to their APIs, or any act or omission on their part. Where a provider does not offer OAuth, you may supply credentials; you confirm you are authorised to do so.
You must not: reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the Service; interfere with or overload it; attempt to gain unauthorised access; use it unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights; or use it to process data you are not entitled to process.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may perform maintenance. Support is provided at support@getmunafa.com on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis.
Munafa, its name, logo, software and content are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in them other than the right to use the Service as permitted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Munafa will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹5,000.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your data, or your use of the Service in violation of law or third-party rights.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin; charges already incurred remain payable. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if a platform we depend on withdraws access. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
